Sir I learned a lot from your videos about both C/C++ language and programming. Please write a book . I am from India, and in many developing countries your book/e-book will be a big hit. Please also make make espresso-C with SDL and OPENGL and DIRECTX, for WIndows platform.

I specially liked your approach of skipping too intricate things for later. Thats very good way of teaching. and also making some topics only and only when context arises is a wonderful way to learn in casual manner.

Please do consider the suggestions. Many dedicated beginners are waiting for this kind of PRACTICAL PROGRAMMING BY MAKING GAMES.

Instead of drawing imposter quads, why not enable the query during your regular geometry pass, grab results at the end of the frame, and apply them to the next frame? You get 'pixel-perfect' occlusion queries, although results may be slightly out: you might be out a few pixels on moving objects due to motion, you can definitely tell what to draw and not require a special pass to do it, given a reasonable threshold.

The music is great to set the mood as are the graphics, especially in the lit diner which is reminicent of a vintage painting. Was all set to play more levels but have not been able to get the game to load center screen. It is hanging to the far left and am not able to see the text or some of the game play: I have a new Acer computer but an older monitor. Is this the problem? Thank you; Carlo and Terri

Cheers,
After following another guide online, my fps went down by over 300% due to stalls. After implementing it in your way, it now performs great.
